Over the years we have been fortunate to have had a number of Presidents with outstanding qualities who have left their mark on the Society. We dedicate two of the lectures in our annual programme to the memory of two past Presidents as a token of our esteem.

The Halkett Hendrie Memorial Lecture - in the subject area of archaeology. This is presented jointly with Peeblesshire Archaeological Society which chooses the speaker in alternate years.

The Charles Morrison Memorial Lecture - on any aspect of the natural world.

Lectures are held on the second Tuesday

of each month from October to March

at 7.30pm in the auditorium of the

             Eastgate Theatre, Peebles.

             An annual membership subscription

costs £10 and gives entry to the full

             programme of lectures.
